Google integrates live enterprise data access directly into Gemini
Google has unveiled Data Cloud connectors that allow Gemini to perform conversational analytics on live data within BigQuery, Spanner, AlloyDB, Cloud SQL, and Looker. By leveraging Knowledge Catalog, the system maps plain-language questions to specific database schemas while strictly observing existing user authentication and row/column-level security policies. This approach avoids data duplication by querying sources in place using a federated model.
